Inefficiencies and long response times caused by a fragmented software architecture.
Before working with Amperecloud, Kintlein & Ose relied on various software solutions and manual processes. Inconsistent interfaces led to inefficiencies and a higher risk of errors, and software costs increased due to multiple providers. It was not possible to respond quickly to technical issues in real time.
There was also alarm spamming: every day, the O&M teams received up to several hundred alarms per plant. If an inverter failed, the system generated alarms for the inverter itself and for all downstream components such as the strings.
