Lack of transparency and external dependencies
Before using Amperecloud, O&M was heavily dependent on an external service provider. There was an in-house Monitoring system, but it lacked central control functions and direct access to relevant plant data.
Particularly challenging: many customers were asking for their own dashboard access to their plants – something that was hardly feasible with the existing setup. Internal control over error detection, data visualization, and alarm management was very limited. They needed a future-proof solution that combines independence, transparency, and scalability.
